Howdy Party - 2005
The Baytown Aggie Mom's Club and the Baytown Aggie
club celebrated the beginning of the football season and the welcome to
the new Aggie Mom's with a fish fry Saturday, July 16, 2002, at the
Beach City Community building. The dinner was delicious, cooked by
Sudie's Catfish restaurant on the spot! The five Yell Leaders for the
2005-2006 school year, led the Aggies and Aggie supporters in a Yell
practice providing practice for the Aggie vs. Clemson game. Two
representatives from the off campus Bonfire Committee shared the
objectives and the safety procedures being implemented, with an onsite
engineer overseeing the building of the Bonfire. Dallas Shipp from the
Twelfth Man Foundation updated the group on the Athletic Departments
building of the covered practice area for the football team. Reveille
and three of her handlers enjoyed sharing information about Reveille and
the traditions surrounding her. Many Aggies and future Aggies took
pictures with Reveille and the Yell Leaders. We left with lots of
enthusiasm and will need a larger area next year! The Yell Leaders and
Reveille Cadets said it was the largest HOWDY party they had been to
this summer! |
