Baytown A&M Mother's Club
January 4, 2007 Minutes
The prayer was led by Mary Ann Gaylord.
A pot luck meal was enjoyed by all.
The program was presented by Jennifer Bohac from the Traveling Aggies.
She presented a slide show and gave information about upcoming trips.
Brochures were left for anyone interested. You can check out the trips

The meeting was called to order by Ruby Branham, President.
Members reviewed the minutes from the November meeting. Debbie Casey
made a motion to accept the minutes. Mary Ann Gaylord seconded. The
minutes were approved as written.
Debbie Lochridge, Treasurer, presented the treasurer’s report. So
far, the club has made $1527 on Gig ‘Em signs, $922 from the Sterling
Bazaar. A payment of $4500 will be sent to A&M for the Spring
scholarships by January 5th. The report will be filed for audit.
Dena Trice, First Vice President, reported that we have 57 paid
members and 4 adopted moms.
Third Co-Vice Presidents, Mary Jane Parker and Sharon Jeffrey, are
checking on the possibility of having the Outback fundraiser again.
Old Business –
Everyone who attended the Christmas party at Ruby’s had a great time.
$105 was collected for the scholarship fund.
New Business-
The Winter Federation meeting will be January 13th in College Station.
Ruby Branham and Gloria Graves will be attending. Everyone is welcome.

The District VI Meeting will be March 17th at the Bay City Country
Club in Bay City. Our club is responsible for the Invocation and 2 door
prizes.
Ruby Branham recognized all who helped in the fundraising efforts -
moving Gig ‘em signs, the Sterling bazaar, and those who packed and
delivered goody bags. Thank you for your participation.
Aggie pocket money of $13 was won by Cory Stephens and Tehniya
Wadhwani. Congratulations!
Dena Trice informed members that the February meeting will be in the
long building. She also read thank you notes from Kristen Alexander,
Alyssa Adams, Amy Gonzalez, and Kelli Snyder.
Sharon Jeffrey made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Dena Trice
seconded.
