Attendees were welcomed by Mary Jane Parker @ 6:45 p.m.  Snacks were served and we all watched a video presentation prepared by Dena Trice.  Afterwards, the meeting was officially called to order at 7:10 p.m.

Prayer was said by Tommye Sandlin.

The approval of the March meeting minutes was accepted by Darlene Duhon and seconded by Ruby Branham.

Treasurer's Report was discussed by Manju Wadhwani.  She informed us that the CD had been renewed in March and it will be due for renewal again in December.

Fund Raising Committee Report: 

The Howdy Party will be July 26th, 2008.  We will be needing donations for the auction.

Old Business:

The Scholarship Committee listed several students as possible scholarship recipients.  The names will be released at the next meeting.

Special Projects:

Darlene Duhon suggested that some of our donation money would go to the "Cavalry".  It was decided "Change" would be removed from the donation list.  Ruby Branham motioned that we remove "Change" from the donation list.  Lori Woods seconded the motion.  Debbie Friermood and Rhonda Pyle motioned to add "Cavalry" to the donation list respectively.

Goody Bags will be given out on April 28th.  Sharon Jeffrey is in charge of collecting money and donations for the bags.

 Peggy Robertson is collecting items for Chris Lochridge.

The vote on changing Article IX, Section 2, was accepted.  The motion to accept was by Gloria Graves and seconded by Ruby Branham.

New Business:

New officers for the 2008-2009 year were announced.  The motion to accept the new officers was by Debbie Friermood and seconded by Gloria Graves.

Aggie Brags were given by Rhonda Pyle, Meredith Coleman, Ruby Branham, Peggy Robertson, and Mary Jane Parker.

Pocket Money went to Trey Cooper, Abby Farmer and Merritt Drewery.  They each received $16.00 each.

Joyce Boyles motioned for the meeting to be adjourned and Darlene Duhon seconded.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.

Next meeting will be May 1, 2008, at Maranatha Church.
