The meeting was
called to order by Mary Jane Parker at
7:00 p.m.
Following prayer,
offered by Tommye Sandlin, a covered
dish buffet was enjoyed by everyone
present.
Approval of November
meeting minutes was led by Shelli
Drewery and seconded by Jan Novosad.
Treasurer's report
was presented by Manju Wadhwani. She
reported that she is still receiving
money from glassware sales.
Old Business: We
talked about how much fun we had playing
games and exchanging ornaments at the
Christmas party.
New Business: The
District Meeting will be in Pearland on
January 26th, 2008. Everyone agreed
that we should carpool to Pearland.
Our special speakers
for the evening were Justin Lewis and
Kyleigh Parker. Justin said that being
an Aggie is like "family" and Kyleigh
let us know what "a great place" A & M
is.
Mary Fontenot has
volunteered to be in charge of the
Schlorship Committee.
Mary Jane mentioned
about next years meetings being held at
Maranatha. Everyone agreed that it
seemed like a central location for our
Moms coming from the Baytown area as
well as for Moms coming from the Anahuac
area.
Jan Novosad motioned
for the meeting to be adjourned. Mary
Fontenot seconded.
The meeting was
adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
Next meeting will be
at 6:30 on February 7, 2008, at
Maranatha.
