The meeting was called to order at 6:50 p.m. by Mary Jane Parker.

Prayer was said by Dena Trice.

Past Presidents of the Baytown A & M Mothers Club were welcomed and introduced by President Mary Jane Parker.  Each one was presented with a beautiful white and maroon carnation.  There were fourteen past presidents in attendance.  Members of the club enjoyed refreshments in honor of the past presidents.

Guest speaker, Andrew Thompson, was introduced by Mary Jane Parker.

Minutes of the February meeting were read by Kay Stephens.  They were approved as read by Darlene Duhon and seconded by Sharon Jeffrey.

Treasurer's report was presented by Manju Wadhwani and will be filed for audit.

Mary Jane reminded the club to be thinking of items for the silent auction for the Howdy Party in July.  The only items we have to sell are cookbooks, flip flops and yard signs.

The Outback Steakhouse fundraiser is still pending.

Sharon Jeffrey is taking orders for Goody Bags.  The cost is $12.00.  Delivery date is April 27th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Deadline to order is March 13th.

Ring crest orders are being taken by Kimberly Ruyle.  These will be delivered in May.

The nominating committee announced the names of the recommended officers for the 09-10 school year.  Nominations were also taken from the club members present.  Voting will be done at the April 2nd meeting.

Shelli Drewery gave a report of the places that she has contacted in regards to the May banquet.

Spring Break will be March 16th - 20th.  Parents Weekend will be April 17th - 19th.

Aggie brags were given by Ruby Branham.

Pocket Money of $14.00 each went to Philip Segura and Kendall Guenther.

A motion to close the meeting was made by Betty Rice and seconded by Joyce Boyles.

Next meeting will be April 2, 2009, @ 6:30 p.m.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 p.m.
