Standing Rules

1. A member elected or selected to serve on the Federation Board will be assisted in defraying expenses.  The dollar amount shall be determined annually by the funds available through the working budget.  The Executive Board will determine and the membership approve the reimbursement.
2. Upon the death of a member, a member’s spouse or child, a $25.00 contribution will be made to the charity or cause of the family’s choice.   It is the President’s responsibility to contact the family concerning preference of memorials.
3. Monies to fund expenditures of memorials and cards will be provided for in the budget of the Courtesy Chairman.  In the event that all budgeted monies are depleted, an offering will be taken at the next regular meeting following the need.
4. The current President will be presented the President’s pin upon her installation.  This pin, a gift from Grace Ffrench, will be passed from year-to-year to the current President of the club.
5. The First Vice President shall order the Past President’s pin in March.  This will be presented to the out-going President at the installation of officers meeting by the President-elect.
6. Mothers of graduating students will be allowed to purchase a Ring Crest paperweight through the 1st Vice President at the March meeting.  The mothers are responsible for paying for the paperweight at the time the order is placed.  Whenever possible, the paperweights should be picked up in College Station to save postage.  (These could be picked up on Friday of Parent’s Weekend or by a student designated by the First Vice President).
7. The Executive Board will determine and the membership approve the number of high school and continuing scholarships to be awarded each year based on finances available in the Club.
8. The club Treasurer will notify the club President and Courtesy Chairman of any donations made to the club in honor or memory of a family member of a current or past club member. The Courtesy Chairman will send a thank you note to the donor and a donation recognition note to the family of the honoree.
